FORTNIGHT LEADING TO BRIAN'S DEATH

Fri. the 25th Aug 1989,  Laughlin Maginn was Shot by the UFF at his home in Rathfriland, The UFF claimed he was a liaison officer for the Provisionals but Maginns family & the Media dispute the UFF's claims.

Tue 29th Aug 1989 , The UFF in an attempt to prove the execution was justified take journalist Chris Moore to unknown house and show him proof that Maginn was an active PIRA liaison officer.
That proof being Montages & Videos acquired from HM Forces in Northern Ireland on numerous PIRA Volunteers & associates.

Wed 30th Aug 1989, Minister of the State Mr John Cope announces his disgust and that he will crack down on the alleged leaks and those who supply information to Loyalist Paramilitaries, and also that he will discuss the matter at a cross border  Anglo - Irish meeting.

Thur. Aug 31st 1989, It is announced by the RUC that a senior British Detective was to be appointed to head a team of British Detectives who were to investigate the leaks to the paramilitaries, Labours Kevin McNamara is enraged at NI Question time about the whole affair and demands action!!

Meantime ; Republicans are crying Blue Murder over shoot to kill polices and Collusion putting massive pressure on Westminster and the NIO to act.

Fri Sept 1st 1989; Gerry Collins The Republic of Irelands Justice Minister makes his own demands about the affair.

SATURDAY 2ND SEPT 1989 BRIAN ROBINSON IS SHOT DEAD "WITH EXCESSIVE FORCE" BY THE COUNTRY WHICH HE LOVED & DIED FOR.

Brian Robinson was shot by British Army special forces on the 2nd September 1989 to Hush Republican/Nationalist/Roman Catholic claims of Victimisation & claims of a Shoot to Kill policy! being carried out against that community.

Vol. Brian Robinson WAS killed to appease Republicans and was used as a political pawn within the Dirty War that DOES exist in Northern Ireland & Beyond!

WE WILL NEVER FORGET BRIAN & THE WAY HE WAS USED & SLAIN BY HIS OWN COUNTRY , A COUNTRY WHICH HE LIVED FOUGHT & DIED FOR!!

This is why thousands flock to the Shankill Road every year on the 1st Saturday in September to pay their respects to a true and loyal Son of Ulster, every year over 70 bands walk the Shankill in memory of Brian and thousands lined the parade route not to support the Bands on parade but to voice an Anger on the way this brave Ulsterman was Murdered & to also pay their respects to Brian , his mother who died the next day  of a Broken  Heart and the entire Robinson family circle who have had to live with the pain & the truth of HOW & WHY Brian was Murdered.
